We are open year round with a maximum of 15 holidays. Our hours are 7.30am to 5.50pm. All our openings include a morning snack, lunch, and a pm snack. We accommodate children with allergies and will work with parents on ingredient substitutions.
To prevent crowding and traffic congestion during pick up time, parents will choose one of the following schedules. Late fees will start after the designated pick up time and billed in 15 minute increments.
- 7.30am to 5pm (4.30 to 5pm pick up window)
- 8am to 5.30pm (5pm to 5.30pm pick up window)
- 8.30am to 5.50pm (5.30 to 5.50pm pick up window)
(Children should be picked up by 5.50pm so teachers have time to check in with parents as needed since teachers end their shift at 6pm.)

Financial Assistance for Preschool
We offer financial assistance options to help make preschool more affordable for eligible families. The Storybook School participates in San Francisco’s Early Learning For All (ELFA) program, funded by the San Francisco Department of Early Childhood (DEC). Both prospective and currently enrolled families may apply for ELFA funding through our program.
Families with household incomes up to 200% of the Area Median Income (AMI) may qualify for an ELFA Credit to help reduce preschool tuition costs.
